Thanks for this Sterling. I do recall on a couple of occasions calling my instrument `a Baroque lute' only to be corrected that it is a theorbo. Will the real instrument please stand up?! hehe. When you say you play Weiss C Major Suites with a 14th course, do you mean playing the dominant - G - an octave lower? Gg? I must give this a go. Best regards, Michael Stitt
