Dear Ed, The Dutch Lute Society publish a facsimile of Vallet's _Le Secret des Muses_.
The French Lute Society have a series of their own publications called "Le Secret des Muses", of which there are over 20 titles in stock. It's worth having a look at what is there. The web site is in French and in English. I got to their site via Google with "French Lute Society", and then clicked on "About us" and then "Publications". That takes you to "Secret des Muses".
