i think stewart is confusing me with another correspondent vis an opinion on rolling chords. i was angling more for the attention of any hapless volunteers out there who might wish to round out their tuscan "experience" by shoveling sheep guano under my olive trees (under the very same tuscan sun of purple prose fame) or risk life and limb, high atop ladder while reaching for that last elusive cluster of olives at harvest time.
just fill in a form disclaiming all possible insurance claims and i'll get back to you quicker than an arpeggio. as a player of a 5c. instrument i would venture to say that in my case a rolled chord is not all that different from a normal chord in that i tend to pick out melodies with a teeter-totter, back and forth, syncopated rhythm with a horn plectrum and strike two-finger chords when ever i need something to fill-in any gaps in the tune - extremely scientific. regards - bill ===== "and thus i made...a small vihuela from the shell of a creepy crawly..." - Don Gonzalo de Guerrero (1512), "Historias de la Conquista del Mayab" by Fra Joseph of San Buenaventura ___________________________________________________________ALL-NEW Yahoo!
