Another name that comes to mind is Robert Ballard. 
Like Vallet, the pieces vary in difficulty level but
there are some easy ones.

I agree with Jim:  it's very useful in learning your
way round the 10-course, to work through pieces where
the composer makes use of the bass courses beyond
simply throwing in a low chord root every once in a
while.
