Hello list members

I am wondering if anyone can help me with a query. I have a 7-course
Renaissance lute made by John Gorrett (Woodlark lutes) in 1985. I had it made
for me in my university days. It's been languishing under my bed for years as
due to tendon problems in my wrist I have been unable to play guitar or lute
for several years. It would benefit from new strings and re-fretting but is
playable and in good cosmetic condition.
I am considering selling it but have no idea how to go about selling a
specialist item like a lute, and I have no idea of its current value. I think I
paid about Pounds 300 new for it.
Can anyone give me any guidelines as to the best way to go about selling this
instrument, and how much might be a reasonable sum to ask? I live in Hampshire
(UK)

Thank you
Lisa Ashforth
