..assuming that bourdons were not employed. This possibility could significantly change punteado melodies. Personally, I'm not unquestionably convinced by the employment of unison tuning on the fifth and sixth courses as it pertains to the vihuela. Supposedly more controversial is the possibility of unison tuning on the fourth course. Sorry to further "stir the puddin'."
