Thank you. In the middle of the third line, on the first course, there are two adjacent tablature letters of unfamiliar shape. The first resembles a 'p' with a long straight tail. And the second resembles a 'p' with a hooked tail. Can someone identify these two letters for me? Are they 'f' and 'h'? Are these shapes standard for that time and place? Or are they an idiosyncrasy of the writer? To get on or off this list see list information at http://www.cs.dartmouth.edu/~wbc/lute-admin/index.html
