Dear Lutists,
I just noticed that there is a portrait in "Le Cinquième Livre" of the 1562 Le Roy print of Albert de Rippe's works. Is this considered an authentic portrait of de Rippe or just generic? Are there any confirmed authentic portraits of 16th c. lutenists?
