I'm giving all my lessons on-line now (Zoom/Skype/FaceTime/WhattApp/WhattNot). I have fancy mics (some Rodes and a Senneheiser) and a proper interface (Focusrite) . Did some testing and it turned out that the build-in mic (where is that mic anyway?) in the iMac gives better results than the fancy mic + interface. Go figure. Home recordings is another story.
