Make sure there is no such module as "zsmalloc" for the time being, in the staging directory of the kernel tree, because starting one version : I don't know which one for now, this will be less reliable. See information here: http://lwn.net/Articles/477067/ As long as the xvmalloc is used it is ok to have zram in the staging directory : having been using it for years as well as many other users. This should help you have a bit more resource when you need it most at install time.
