An idea to help pay for the website... This is already in use at other
projects and helps underwrite costs. I use it on my own domain as well:
Offer a "@lxde.org" email address for a donation (you determine that
part). I would be delighted to buy one, not only to have a cool email
address and support it's ongoing success, but also to raise awareness of
the project and it's continuing relevance on both Linux and FreeBSD.

Yao Wei seems to have been in charge so far (see his post from Tue, Jul 15
2025 09:26:55 +0800 here).
If someone were willing to pay for the domain and web space, I would take
care of the website administration (we'd have to figure out about the forum
and blog later).
It would probably be easiest to reactivate everything at gandi.org, but I
don't know if they also hosted things there. If not, redirecting to GitHub
Pages might be a quick temporary solution (I only have push permissions
there).
