I just use "Lynx" as my user-agent string and everything works for me with Google. I have the following settings in my ~/.lynx/lynx.cfg ENABLE_LYNXRC:useragent:on ENABLE_LYNXRC:send_useragent:on and then in my ~/.lynxrc send_useragent=on HTH, Morten
