Yes, but since my TERM variable is now 'vt100' it doesn't match
the names in the TERMCAP variable descriptor. There is a space in the
'vt 100' name which would prevent a match. Therefore  I would be using
either the /etc/termcap or /usr/share/lib/the terminfo version of the 
descriptor.
