The trick is thatr Lars reverted to the old kernel so that we can work
on other stuff until this is done.

Yes, I would be interested to see priorities too.
My personnal todo list (which resides somewhere in my brain) reads:
- cut menu and toolbar configuration from lyxrc and put them in
another class LyXGUIRc or whatever. We would then have UI definitions
in lib/ui and lyxrc would contain something like '\use_gui default' or
'\use_gui word'. I do not know whether the bind files should move
there too (because they are related to the UI).
- use the new features of xforms 0.89 in the toolbar
- finish the menu code (a few things are still not done)
All these things are easy, but require a bit of time which I do not
have right now.
I'd be glad to know what real priorities are.
