Isn't that exactly what branches are made for? Why can't you guys clone a fresh branch, cut out the spell checker and plug in enchant. If that works out and is finished without a developer being hit by a bus you merge that branch into the trunk. If that is not possible you should think hard whether your source code versioning system suits your needs. Spaetz
