| is not convenient because of our use of quotes (like l'escalier). But
| typing the accent after the character works very well, espcially when
| restricting the letter on which the accent can be put.
Ok. Note that this is how unicode recommends that you should be aple
to enter combining chars as well. But that is a frontend issue, input
methods.
(You don't enter the '+' explicitly do you?)
