Fine. We already have enough features in LyX.
So ongoing work like unicode, change tracking, and multiple windows
can continue. Other work has to wait, including performance work.
Will 1.5.0's performance be at least as good as 1.4.0's?
Once things are back to working, 1.5 should be released.
May I ask for the usual bug fixing phase? Right now, bugzilla lists 524
(five-hundred-twenty-four!) non-trivial bugs!
We will have to disappoint some people's expectations for the sake of
not loosing the progress that has been made.
Apart from LaTeX encodings, will there be any other area where 1.4 will
be superior to 1.5?
