Something that needs to be done is making LyX/Mac start normally. And
I think I know why it does not work: in LyX::exec, execBatchCommands
(which checks that no command option remain and display an error
otherwise) is executed _before_ GuiApplication is created. This may be
intentional, it is wrong, since in the Qt/Mac case, the
QApplication constructor handles the -psn command line option that
guarantees good communication with the finder.

Therefore, createApplication should be called before
execBatchCommands. I know how fragile this part of code is, and I do
not nkow much about how it works now.

Abdel, do you think these hints are enough to fix the bug?

Anybody who is able to use a debugger can fix the bug.

I'll fix it.

Abdel.
