I didn't see anything wrong with your patch on a first glance. What is
worrying you?
Here comes the next mechanical one: Get rid of one of the 100 arguments of
Paragraph::Pimpl::simpleTeXSpecialChars. This is possible since the caller
makes sure that running_font is equal to font, so we only need
running_font.
This is going in now.
