How can I access the symbols defined in there (I know, I could read

in_word_set() from MathParser.h.
I see. The problem (as you certainly know) is that some of the symbols
defiled in lib/symbols are not defined with unicode and there would be
some clash, wouldn't there?
This file contains different things. Those that are not real symbols, e.g.
with inset == "decoration" or inset == "matrix" could be left alone. Only
those that are drawn be InsetMathSymbol (where inset is a font name like
cmm) would get the UCS4 code point as an additional entry.
A bit complicated IMHO.
But note that the parsing of this file is
rather crude.
Indeed. Maybe we should do a new file with a simpler
(command-code-point) syntax reserved for math?
This would be a major change. Do you understand now why I am reluctant to
do this now?
Yes I understand but I am not proposing to switch fully to this new file
but gradually. And the first class to make use of this would be the
Delimiter dialog. Then we can switch gradually all of mathed symbols in
subsequent 1.5.x release... Or wait for 1.6. But it is clear to me that
we must switch sooner or later and I guess you and Andre will agree with me.
If you think that we should not introduce this new file now, then I'll
hard-code the symbols in the delimiter dialog for now.
