Consensus was along the lines of 'ok' -- 'I don't care'.
There was nobody insisting on .C as far as I rememeber.
Lars was because of his XML branch IIRC. I reckon this is not a strong
argument anyway because it is easy enough to change the extension in
there also. IMHO of course.
+1 for the Q* renaming
