and via posts to this list I've seen two or three "I don't really" care.
Let me put it differently. Does anyone have any reason for switching to
the use of "release candidate" instead of "prerelease"?
If no one objects within a day or two I'll adjust the ANNOUNCE and
README accordingly, and try to see what else should be changed.
