feedback is welcome for this message.
The reason for this tight scheduled is that if we are not able to fix the
really serious bugs in a month we will not solve the issues and this only
stagnates the development.
The fact that lots of bugs have proposed patches is also an hint that the
schedule can be met.
Proposed schedule to 1.5.0 release:
11 May - beta 3
The only reason for this release to be called beta 3 and not release candidate
1 is that we had lots of code reordering.
Starting from this date and until the stable release all svn commits should
have an associated bugzilla number.
18 May - release candidate 1
No more new features or even "featurelets", the emphasis is fixing crashes and
regressions. The difference of a only a single week is that I don't expect
many serious bugs after the last beta.
1 June - release candidate 2 (expected to be the last)
Changes accepted after this stage should not change the translation strings,
the emphasis is on crashes and translations. The purpose is to give more time
to fix any remaining critical bug and to give some time to translators for
the first stable release.
8 June - 1.5.0 release

Thanks to Uwe and Bennet I have compiled this list of bugs. Is there any issue
missing here? Which bugs do you expect to tackle during the release
candidates stage?
