Hi all,

I don't quite know how I got this or how to reproduce it. But here goes.
Latest SVN. Was surprised to find no emergency saves generated, was this
feature removed??

I tried viewing a DVI version of my document. Got an error with the
mathed bug I recently reported. Deleted it, created a new mathed with
what would work. Fix the next one. Then generate the third error (all
were the same basic mathed problem). Then press the left cursor key, to
enter the blue highlighted text which contains the LaTeX error. LyX
aborts with the following output.

--------8<--------8<--------8<--------8<--------8<--------
/usr/include/c++/4.1.2/debug/vector:199:error: attempt to subscript
    container with out-of-bounds index -1, but container only holds 1584
    elements.

Objects involved in the operation:
sequence "this" @ 0x0x8ff1ea8 {
  type = N15__gnu_debug_def6vectorIiSaIiEEE;
}
Aborted
--------8<--------8<--------8<--------8<--------8<--------

I reproduced this twice on the same error in my document (with the same
reported value of "this") and then the next problem hit. I attempted to
load my document for the third time and was then unable to view DVI at
all, instead getting this error.

--------8<--------8<--------8<--------8<--------8<--------
Failed to copy '/home/dfreeman/thesis/references.bib' to
'/tmp/lyx_tmpdir8311kEKHF7/lyx_tmpbuf0/28_home_dfreeman_thesis_references.bib'
File '/tmp/lyx_tmpdir8311kEKHF7/lyx_tmpbuf0/thesis.tex' was not closed
properly.
Error: Error closing file
----------------------------------------
The output file could not be closed properly.
 Probably some characters of your document are not representable in the
chosen encoding.
Changing the document encoding to utf8 could help.
--------8<--------8<--------8<--------8<--------8<--------

The second one I can fix easily enough by deleting the temp dir. But
this is not an acceptable behaviour for LyX.

Have fun,
Darren
