I don't plan to look at this before 1.5.0 final release, there are more burning issues with RTL to be dealt with. However, a fix for this *may* require a format change, in which case we'd have to wait until 1.6 (although I'm pretty sure that we can get around this; for example, the toolbar button, or whatever it is, that we add, can just insert the note at the beginning of the paragraph; then there wouldn't be any need for a format change.)
