That fixes the compilation.
However, the patch doesn't seem to work. (I'm not sure exactly how it
is supposed to work, but here's what I find.)
Clicking on icons (such as that for big operators) that are supposed
to bring up a set of symbols brings up an empty panel of the right
size. Clicking on icons (such as that for roots) that are supposed to
have some normal text in them display properly.
In both cases, the panel doesn't have any widgets that can be grabbed
so as to tear it off, though the panels look somewhat different than
previously -- as if they are supposed to have a title bar or something.
