Peter> Therefore we have to decides at runtime which function to call. 1) I do not think that you need to rename the fonts and add _LyX when using AddFontResourceEx with FR_PRIVATE flag. 2) I thought we already had abandonned hope of running under windows 98? 3) In any case, I think that the proper windows way is to use AddFontResourceEx and, if it returns an error message (win9x), use AddFontResource instead.
