Awesome! You only failed to mention that I had to run the configure script to 
have the new language in the GUI menu (I like that expression). 

Also, is this the right place to suggest new additions?

Actually, I only had to delete the strings in "language package" and "command 
start" in the Tools -> Preferences -> Language dialog. De-selecting the "use 
babel" or the auto begin/end seemed to have no effect in the output as long as 
I had cleared those strings. Weird.

Anyway, that's exactly what I needed. I wonder if I should add it to the 
manuals or the wiki.
