no, the project has to be self contained, otherwise the best would be make part of lyx itself.

Or should everything just be "ready"? (I was recently on a seminar on requirements, so now I sometimes find myself thinkin in terms of

* 'market requirements'
* 'system requirements'
* 'software design requirements'
* the code

Or, of course, the purpose of the project could be to code a prototype, that is used to test on people to see what the requirements really are.
