i want some inset, which i can put anywhere in the text which output

number which is incremented + 1 to previous inset. and i do not want
to edit
some preamble stuff to do this, just something from the insert menu,
as any
normal user would expect.
So you want an object that does not exist in LaTeX (needs several
macro calls) or
in html. Doesn't this strike a bell telling that this object may have
bad semantics?
I do not know personally of documents that _need_ this. This is a
gadget, IMNSHO.
