Hm, but according to the comment, only the buffer- or view-related items are to be disabled. And prefs and aboutlyx are both not of that kind. So maybe the disabling method is too general. Does the problem occur also when a document is loaded? Jürgen PS. I wonder why this hasn't been noticed before. Is nobody using branch on the Mac for real work?
