Here's a patch for review. Missing packages that prevent a layout from
being available are listed in textclass.lst; they can be displayed to
the user when he/she attempts to use such a class.
Note that I am no C++ hacker, so please check that I am not doing
anything crazy here.
FYI, I've had a look at this and will make some comments and/or go ahead
and commit. But I'm tied up with the Qt 4.6.x crashes at the moment.
JMarc, could you have a look at the TeX-related parts of the patch?
