mmm.. Not really, though the problems are different. 1) I got tricked in using Forward search while the "Enable Forward/ Reverse Search" was not checked. Wouldn't we either disable this context menu item then, or warn the user, or something else. 2) I didn't have srcltx package. It is not in chkconfig.ltx. Should it ? 3) Having the dvi with TeX source, .... the forward search somehow always brings me to the top of the first page. All of the above might be my ignorance with respect to this feature.
