and btw its worth to check your email client documentation. it might have function for reply-to-list, which just picks-up the correct To: for the mailing list you read without manual editing addresses. if you are even more lucky, you can bind reply-to-list as a default reply operation for specified folders, so from that moment you can use your reply function identically in all folders without discriminating private and list traffic... pavel
