| Using closest allocated color with (r,g,b)=(9216,8960,36352) instead.
| Pixel [75] is used.
This is working as it should then, and as far as I can see the colors
picked are pretty close to what you really want.
| 2) LyX takes very long to start (25 seconds)

| This seems to be related to the new colorful banner of LyX. When I
| disable it in the new fine preferences dialog, I have no color
| problems anymore and the startup time reduces to 1.7 seconds (!!)

| I think the full color banner should not be used on 8bit displays. I
| don't know the performance differences on TrueColor displays...
Hmm, I thought we used a less colorful banner... Is this the one with
the cucumber? (if so I thing the real banner is a bit less color
hungry)
