To come closer to the original I've moved the location of the spellignore() retrieval (patch attached). Same exception. Please consider the fact that I check the spelling of the german Intro.lyx. The bparams.spellignore() word list should be empty and it is. The basic_string exception must be independent and more general. Stephan
