Unfortunately not.
I see now why it is needed (to run InsetQuote::updateBuffer). This could
be done easily, but the real question is probably why so many updates.
Preliminary work with Gdb tells me that this triggers 5 (!) calls to
TocModel::reset (is that the right thing to look at?).
All these come from GuiApplication::updateCurrentView.
More to come later.
