I encountered a similar phenomenon on MacOS 26.0 with Qt 6.9.2. Since LyX
compiled with Qt 5.15.18 doesn’t show this problem, it seems a compatibility
problem between MacOS 26 Tahoe and Qt 6.

Qt is preparing Qt 6.10 (https://www.qt.io/blog/qt-on-macos-26-tahoe) which may
solve the problem, however I couldn’t make LyX compile on it so far.
