My idea when suggesting the areas: import, export and convertors, amongst other generic topics, was to give users making bug submissions something they might understand or relate to in bug-topics from the menus or dialogs for example. How many _users_ making bug reports have ever said "It's a problem with InsetText" or "It's a problem with LyXLex?" Users don't know the source code and shouldn't be expected to. Perhaps things like import and export should be more specific but then we end up with a massive list of options when the user should hopefully define in their bug report which area of import/export they are having problems with.
