As far as I can tell, the bug is not in my code. The crash occurs when trying to clone an insettext which contains a graphics. I can rewrite the insetfloating code so it won't do inset cloning (I'll do it tomorrow), but perhaps the above problem can appear in other places (e.g when copying&pasting a float with a graphics inset), so it might worth to try to fix the crash.
