Dear list,

I just found what I think are more mathed bugs in 1.3.0CVS.

Write some text into mathed and make it roman. Select the latter half of
it and hit underscore. The selection is replaced by a subscript
containing the whole mathed box, where it should just contain the
selection.

Write some text into mathed and create a subscript after it. Select the
non-subscripted part and hit ctrl-m to make it roman. It will be
replaced by a roman version of the subscript!

Create a matrix inside a mathed box. Fill in the entries with roman
text. Select a few of them and make them bold. The document will have
LaTeX errors when viewing, related to missing $ or extra }. I suspect
this is an issue with bold, since bold right after an ERT seems to kill
it too (see previous posts).

Create a mathed box and position the cursor inside. It can be empty or
full. Try to scroll away from the mathed box to look elsewhere, without
moving the cursor. The buffer will jump back to mathed, sometimes in
whacky ways.

With the cursor inside a mathed box, hit tab. The cursor will jump
elsewhere in the document (a fair way up in my case). Scroll away from
this spot. The buffer jumps back to mathed, then scrolls up to the
cursor in jumps of about 5 lines, with one jump per second. The cursor
is not really in the text though, because hitting an arrow key brings
you back to the same mathed box you started in. Figure that out, I dares
ya!

Well.. Mathed is pretty damn cool but has some whacky "features" too =)

Have fun,
Darren
