I just finished compiling lyx-1.3cvs with QT frontend and I must say WOW. It
looks and behaves very nicely. (e.g. it opened my diss.lyx and compiled it
without errors!)

Some remarks:

1. More icons would make lyx prettier. Maybe use some from koffice where
apropriate?
2. The preferences/configuration dialog is beautiful and a real improvement!
3. The TOC is very nice. Maybe one should consider allowing to dock it in
the main window?
4. lyx still freezes during compilation. This looks bad and might make users
think it crashed.
5. Scrolling is jerky and slower than in lyx-1.2.1 OTOH, I can jump in the
document by middle clicking on the scroll bar!
6. It would be nice, if the direct help button were used.
7. Displaying the footnote numbering would be more useful than just
displaying "foot".
8. Search and Replace is still very limited, you can't search for
commands/formatting.
9. The option to open/close all floats is missing!
10. Even though I use pspell/aspell, the spellchecker preferences only
offers me *.ispell files as personal dictionary files.

I look forward to the new release!! Thank you
