Hmm, life would become easier for lyx and other projects, if lyx used 
standard sizes. Also most if not all of the KDE icons are available as SVG, 
so you could just  rerender them for the lyx size.

Because people are used to it and because that way, you don't have to handle 
two windows. Also, you can't cover the TOC with the lyx main window.

A perfect addition would be an editable TOC (increase/decrease section 
depth, move sections and content around in the TOC) Have a look at the OOo 
navigator to see what I mean.

In KDE/kwin you can click on the "What's this" Help button and click on any 
entry to get an explanation popup. It is also accessible via SHIFT+F1 and 
in the Help menu by default.

Well a simple counter would work for 95 % of all cases and I think I heard 
that complete latex counter support would be added, were added? I think it 
would make life easier for many users. Especially for corrections of a 
printed text.

Well, lyx will become more popular than ever with the new qt-gui. Will the 
speed issues be fixed before the lyx-1.3 release? What's the problem?
