Don't think so. The two functions in question are:
        MathInset const * MathAtom::operator->() const;
and
        InsetBase * CursorSlice::inset() const;
but MathInset derives from InsetBase.

Looks to me like cursor.C is missing a
        #include "mathed/math_inset.h"
