I have been very busy recently so have no idea about 1.4.x's current state. Is it useable and, if so, what needs to be done between now and release? It seems like the list has gine very quiet recently. Is that because nobody other than André is writing any code? (And presumably his normally copious output is somewhat curtailed by his new-father status?)
