Whoa! Whilst that is consistent, I'd like to remind you that LyX has
aspirations to be more than just a LaTeX frontend. IMO we should output the
semantics, not the LaTeX code:
\InsetSpace \space --> \InsetSpace space
\insetSpace \, --> InsetSpace thinspace
