Indeed!

I couldn't believe how fast it was checking out the code... in fact I
fully expected the compilation to fail because some stuff was missing.

I've just compiled for Qt, but in case anyone less experienced would like 
the short list of instructions, I placed my notes here:

Since I don't have xforms (and no root access) I didn't try that.

I added a comment about that as well... 

There is one thing I wonder about the setup of Subversion though... I
remember reading something about there being a risk with several people
accessing (writing?) to the repository at the same time. I'd be grateful
for a pointer to the relevant documentation on how this is/can be solved.
