I have tested with boost-1.33 and I get the same errors there...
(I'll redo my tests)
OK, in fairness, all I've fixed are the lyx-1.4.0pre5 against boost-1.33
incompatibilities. Can't confirm/deny gcc-4.1-worthiness yet.
boost-1.33 patch is now included in the bugzilla report.
