Actually I see that you use splash.lyx from the examples folder
and it does not begin with '-', indeed. However, what you report
above is due to the fact that lp is being invoked with -tosplash.ps
as an argument (the h is missing because it is recognized as an
option), so it must be something in your configuration.
Perhaps you tweaked the printer settings in LyX causing that
argument to be passed to lp. I cannot reproduce that, though.
