Cygwin build with cygwin/qt3?

Dear all,

I am trying a native cygwin build, The wiki page
(http://wiki.lyx.org/LyX/LyXOnCygwin) asks me to build qt by myself,
but I notice that qt3 is already included in cygwin. Is there any
particular reason we do not use it?
